for Muin Mound Grove, ADF - 11/19/04 ### Skip will be working with the children. Jenn will be Naming, Calling, and Thanking the Deity of the rite (Cerridwen) Deb will be honoring the Earth Mother Jennifer will be invoking the Bardic Deities Alicia will be doing the Historical Precident Sharon will be acknowledging the Outsiders Sean was volunteered to call the Ancestors Jenn will call the Nature Spirits Ellie was volunteered for the Shining Ones Dennis will be taking the Omen Other parts will be given out before ritual or performed by Kia and Dennis. In addition to your respective parts, everyone should be reviewing the flow of ritual. We will be trying to do it without cheat-sheets. It would be good for us all to read over all the parts and perhaps do some reading on Cerridwen as well. Keep practicing those chants! ### We also talked about the processional. There was some confusion last
time. We decided to continue walking (and chanting) around the nemeton
until the last 2 people (the ones censing and aspurging) have entered
and circled 3 times. The first people in may end up circling more than We talked about ideas for improving the recordings of the chants. Ideas for children's rituals were discussed. Perhaps turning the pre-ritual briefing into the pre-ritual children's ritual. The two-powers meditation was talked about. We discussed how the heat and cold aspects that we have been doing could be reversed so that the heat comes from the earth and the cold comes from the void of space above. Now that the seasons have changed, we may want to tap into the warmth of the earth. Anything I missed? -- |
