OLD BUSINESS:
- Repairs/replacement of the bridge leading into the Nemeton was discussed again.
A work weekend has been slated for May 16th, 17th, and 18th to do the repairs to the foot bridge
- There was also a discussion on replacing the Nemeton's wooden work table with a fine new stone work materials will be used from our land with the exception of the mortar. This is still in the planning stage
and will be addressed further after the work is done on the foot bridge.
- Bank Run will also be purchased in the spring of 2008 for the Nemeton.
Motion was made for the above projects and all necessary purchases to start and complete. Willow made 1st motion followed by our Sr. Druid, Dennis. Motion was carried.
NEW BUSINESS;
- Schedule of the 2008 Rituals are as follows.
*Yule 12/15/2007 Luaghnasdh 08/02/2008
- Imbolc 02/02/2008 Mabon 09/20/2008
- Eostra 03/22/2008 Samhain 11/01/2008
- Beltaine 05/03/2008 ** Yule 12/13/2008
-Mid Summer 06/21/2008
* Yule for 2007
- **There will be a Gift Exchange after the Feast on Yule. Those who want to participate may bring a gift between $5.00 and $10.00.
- It was also discussed of how much fun it would be for the Grove to attend Well Spring. This was received
quiet well as long as the gas prices remained reasonable. There was some concern on the cost for the
the children going as they would not be attending workshops due to their age. This will be looked into
further, but those attending the business meeting thought that this would be a wonderful time for the
Grove.
- Muin Mound Madness is slated for August 15, 16, and 17th. It was decided that MMM would be a 3
day festival instead of a 4 day. There are many that work and it seems that it would be more conducive
to have the Opening Ritual early Friday morning with the Closing Ritual on Sunday as usual. Again,
should the gas prices soar out of control this as with many festivals could affect attendance. As time
marches on we will be keeping an eye on this pending situation, and adjust as needs be.
Meeting was adjourned at 4:20 P.M. Motion was carried by Skip, and Dennis.
