Imbolc Business Meeting Minutes
February 4,2006

Attendees: Skip, Sharon, Willow, Phoenix, Beth, and Deb

- Meeting Opened @ 3:30 pm

- Old Business: Ray and Alicia need to update/and or correct their
email addresses for the Mother Grove. Neither email addresses are
going through.

- New Business: Skip said that there has been trespassers
on the property, and that the door on the camper in the
back field was opened, as well as 5 Tiki torches stolen (the tops).
Phoenix suggested that we send positive energy to the land to further
safe guard from harm.

- We discussed ways in which we could draw more people out to the
Grove, and that is by making ourselves known to the surrounding
communities. We are going to make up flyers for Seven Rays Bookstore
as well as Syracuse University. Deb noticed that the Religion section
of the Neighbors East now has a spot for Pagan Religions. She will
contact Neighbors East for rates. Eostre we will plan on making
flyers to be posted. Skip made motion to have flyers made, this was
seconded by Sharon.

- We also discussed holding our rituals (during the cold months) inside
as this may help draw people out. We are known for holding our
rituals out of doors even when very cold. Phoenix requested that
a contact number be included in the flyer so calls could be screened
before giving directions. Details to be worked out on this.

- We would like to invite Lake Tear of the Clouds Grove and possibly
Erie for a fun evening/overnight gathering. This would give all of
us a wonderful opportunity to get to know eachother and form stronger
bonds with other ADF Groves in and around CNY. We are looking at
possibly August. There would be no fees assocaited with this, it will
be just a fun get together. Details to be worked out later.

- A trip to our Headwaters is going to be planned. We would like to
make this trip as a campover. Primitive camping at its finest!!!

- A Hunt for your Lunch was also suggested as part of our Beltaine
weekend celebration. We would gather herbs and all good greens from
from the land and see what we come up with. This would be a good
learning experience for all esp. the little ones.
