Mid Summer Business Meeting
June 24, 2006


Meeting called to order at 5:30 p.m.

Attending: Skip, Sharon, Deb, Ray, Dennis, Willow,Phoenix and Beth.


OLD BUSINESS: Plans were talked about for the Grove get together
on the weekend of July 27th. Breakfast will be cooked by the members of Muin Mound on July 29th for our guests prior to their heading home.
Following is the list of those who are donating food for the breakfast.

Sharon: Eggs, Syrup, and coffee
Dennis: Sausage
Ray and Deb: Pancake batter, and bacon
Aislinn: Orange Juice
Alicia and Shawn: Bacon, and juice

Friday July 27th will be arrival and relaxation. Some fireside chit chat and maybe we can get some drumming going.

Saturday will be fun and pool time as well as some other activities that will be planned prior to the get together.

NEW BUSINESS:

Ddennis made motion to price out an ad for Pagan Pride Day. This was 2nd by Ray. Motion was carried.

Willow donated a lovely bowl that will be used for the outsiders. This is Willows first piece done on her potters wheel. It is greatly appreciated by all and very special as it was made with lots of love, and care. Thank you Willow.

We talked about going to the Renaissance Fair as a group for those who would like to go. We are looking at going July 8th or 9th.

Dennis is working hard to increase the visability of the Grove. He posted announcements for Mid Summer ritual and will also post for up coming rituals. Dennis has also joiined MeetUP.Com and has received contacts and will attend some meetups to meet more people and also help make us known more to those out there.

Dennis also suggested for some of us to get out and mingle more with our pagan community. There are various activities and get togethers in the Syracuse that some of us can attend. Ray and Deb will put their best foot foward and start to to get out there and MINGLE !!!

September 24th has been slated for the Grove Day at the headwaters.
Pack snacks for the trip if you like. We will also do Tree Meditations, and journal our thoughts and impressions that we recieve.
Dinner will follow at the Ellisons. Ray will make his homemade sauce for the pasta.

Last but by far not least...tonight will be Beths all night vigil. We are so happy to have Beth's name amoung us as Folk of the Grove.
Beths Welcoming will be at Lughnasadh.
