Muin Mound Grove business meeting minutes for 9/20/08.

Meeting began at 5:50pm.

First order of business is the purse warden’s report.

$101.25 in paypal

Muin Mound Madness took in $423.25. Out of that $218 came in the form of cash. We then spent $120 of that on the potty. So we had a profit of $303.25. Sharon put $50 in checking and $168 in savings. This was somewhat confusing. I then asked Sharron for clarification, her response was as follows.

Correction I put $222.00 in the savings on 8/23/08 and $50.00 in checking on
8/23/08 but I forgot to say that $50.00 check was mailed to us and deposited in the checking acct. on 6/24/08. I put 168.00 cash + one check for $54.00 for a total of $222.00 in savings.

We collected a total $272.00 from cash and check on weekend of MMM and I banked $222.00 in savings and $50.00 in checking.
So 272.00+50.00 bank in June + 101.25 pay pal. = $423.25 total earned from MMM 2008 with expense of $120.00 for port a john.

There were 17 adults and 3 kids in attendance.

Phoenix made several suggestions for possible grove outings in the future. She expressed a strong desire to go camping as a grove, possibly in the fall sometime. After some discussion it was decided to look into camping at Brushwood. This location seemed ideal for our purposes. Phoenix also suggested going to Sonnenburg Gardens near Canandaigua to connect with nature and work on building meditative energy. Another suggestion was a trip to the headwaters.
