Omens from the Beltaine 2010 Worship Service

Omen taken by Skip using the oghams. There was thunder before and after the service, but the rain held off until just after the goodbyes.

The question asked was: What lessons do the kindreds have for us over the next 6 weeks?

The pre-ritual omen was Gooseberry. Nature is all around us at this time.

From the Ancestors, we drew Yew - rebirth.

From the Spirits of Nature, we drew Rowan. This tells us of the Fair Folk.

From the Shinning Ones, we drew Ivy. This tells us from inner knowledge comes strength.

The after-ritual omen was White Poplar. This tells us that we have the bouyancy to float above our problems.
