Summer Solstice 2009 Omens

The omen was done by Skip using Oghams. The service was rained out and had to be done by the house.

The initial question asked was: What lessons should we work on?

The pre-ritual omen was Oak and tells us to have strength.

From the Ancestors, we drew the Fir. This tells us to take the long view.

From the Spirits of Nature, we drew the Ash. This tells us to look to the ancient lore.

From the Shining Ones, we drew the Oak again. This tells us that we really do need to the strength to carry through.

The after ritual question was: Did the ritual work?

And the after-ritual omen was the Hawthorn. This counsels us that the ritual worked.
