Historical precedent 'Book' for the Spring Equinox Children's Ritual Created by Phoenix - Spring Equinox 2005 Page 1 - Page 2 - Eostre – Historical Precedent – 2005 On this night,
we celebrate Eostre and the Spring Equinox. Page 3 - This
night we celebrate the greening of our Earth Mother, sow sacred seeds,
and feel the balance within all things. Page 4 - Now
we can feel as the sun grows stronger and brings longer days. Page 5 - We
can look to the Earth Mother and see her start for the summer dance. Page 7 - We can look to Oisin, little fawn, son of Fionn; who was so handsome that the Queen of the Otherworld fell in love with him and asked him to join her in her land.
Page 8 - We can look to Eostre, goddess of the dawn. She keeps the hare of fertility and dances on the greening Earth.
Page 9 - Look, listen, and dance in balance.
